At Ihya Al Andalus School we value truth, goodness, and beauty.
The pursuit of truth is the ultimate goal of a classical education. Character development, and the inculcation of goodness, are essential to the cultivation of a human being. We value the preservation and embodiment of beauty in our school environment, conduct, and curriculum.
With a classical education, your child can achieve his or her God-given potential as a human being.
Ihya Al Andalus School aims to cultivate a love of learning in pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty, producing students who are rooted in faith and grounded in service to God and humanity.

And say, “My Lord! Increase me in knowledge!” QURAN 20:114
God, His angels, and all those in the heavens and the Earth, including ants in their hills and fish in the water, send down blessings on those who educate others in beneficial knowledge.” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2685)
— HADITH —
To help inspire and support a network of Revival Ihya Schools across the world, empowering Muslim communities to connect the mosque, home, and school under one common goal:
actualizing the vicegerency of God on earth for generations to come.
Ihya Al Andalus School aims to cultivate a love of learning in pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty, producing students who are rooted in faith and grounded in service to God and humanity.
And to revive with and through them the Muslim heritage of Al Andalus.
To offer our young ones the possibility of learning the traditional way, a Liberal Arts Curriculum that will prepare them mentally, and spiritually to face the challenges of the world.
Allah will elevate those of you who are faithful, and ˹raise˺ those gifted with knowledge in rank. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
Sura al Mujadila:11
Our program is holistic, interconnected, and personalized for every student. Inspired by classical content and pedagogy, our curriculum integrates three types of knowledge: knowledge of God, knowledge of man, and knowledge of the universe.
Knowledge of God is the center of all knowledge. This type of knowledge includes Qur’an memorization, Arabic language study through immersion, and foundational Islamic knowledge in creed, jurisprudence, Prophetic teachings, and spirituality.
Knowledge of man includes the study of history, literature, language arts, poetry, art, music, and handicrafts.
Knowledge of the universe includes science, nature study, geography, and mathematics.
The ultimate goal of a classical education is to produce a whole, perfected human being through the cultivation of truth, beauty, and goodness. The liberal arts are tools which free the mind to recognize truth and perceive reality; the basic liberal arts include grammar, logic, and rhetoric.
“We begin studying the liberal arts at the elementary level of education and continue through higher education and for the remainder of our lives, because they help us discern what is real and what is not.” Shaykh Hamza Yusuf
A classical liberal arts education trains the human being in both language and numbers, developing the ability to reason, speak, listen, write, and read with discernment and accuracy. Through the study of the liberal arts, we recognize the inter-relations of knowledge across all subjects.
During this 2024-2025 school year we are currently offering the Part Time Liberal Arts Program.
